Now, we know you came here to find leads. As we mentioned in the Basic Setup section, there are a few ways you can do it. Let us go into some detail how you can find the most suitable leads for you.
One of the best and more detailed ways is by using the Oxyleads Prospector. In your Oxyleads account page, you will see that you can find emails by typing in the details of people you want to look for, e.g. CEOs from the United States working in Finance, or by conducting a search on a company by typing in the company’s name or their websites URL.
If you search by typing in the details, you will be taken to the results page and can see that on the left side there is a button for More Filters. Clicking on it will provide you with extra filters where you can specify Company technologies, Company size, Company type, Company revenue, and Company funding for a more detailed search. This way you will be able to find leads that completely fit your profile and will have a likely chance to respond once you send them an email.
If you go through the company search, you will be taken to the company’s results page where you will also be able to specify position and skills keywords to find people within the company. This is a good way to find all of the decision makers of the company without the need to scroll through the extensive list.
You can find company data and leads through your browser extension as well, so if you wish to learn more about it, we explained in the Basic Setup above.
Now, we did say that this was an advanced setup, therefore, there is more to filters than it seems. First things first, let us start with what is a Position skills filter.
This filter allows you to type in any skills you might require from the person that you are looking for. Let’s say you need a CEO that has marketing skills, or perhaps you need a CEO with Java skills. This filter allows you to find exactly those people with said skill sets. You can type in as many skills as you require.
However, if you type in ONE filter keyword, every position filter search adds up with an AND based search. E.g.:
- Searching for CEOs with Marketing skills in Finance industry, USA.
This way you will be provided with all possible CEOs in Uthe SA, working in finance that have marketing skills.
If searching for MORE than one filter keyword, you will have position filters adding up with an OR based search. E.g.:
- Searching for CEOs or CTOs, with Java or HTML skills in Entertainment industry who are located in the USA or UK.
With this search, you will be provided with the list of possible leads that can be either of the provided keyword combinations.
This might seem a tad complicated at first, but do not worry, you will catch on fast and to help you out, we wrote a blog post on how to use position filters just for this occasion.
There is one other way to discover new leads in greater amounts - creating a lead list.
